How it Works

How The Little Loop Works

The Little Loop makes passing on kids’ clothes feel easy, thoughtful, and personal — not anonymous or wasteful. Instead of tossing outgrown clothes into a donation bin and hoping for the best, you’re sending them directly to another family who truly needs them.

A Community of Moms, Built With Care

At the heart of The Little Loop is a growing database of moms who want a better way to circulate kids’ clothes. Every family in the Loop has opted in, shared their child’s sizing, and joined with the intention of both giving and receiving. The more families who join, the stronger — and more impactful — the Loop becomes.

Step 1: Join the Little Loop (Free)

Before anything else, it starts with community.

We’re building a growing database of moms who want a better way to reuse kids’ clothes. When you sign up, you tell us the sizes and genders your child wears — so we know how to match you when the time comes.

No commitment. No pressure. Just a smarter way to be part of the loop.

Step 2: Get Your Little Loop Bag

Start by purchasing a Little Loop bag. This bag is designed specifically for shipping kids’ clothes safely and easily. You can send a few items or more — no pressure to “fill it up.”

Step 3: Scan the QR code

Each bag includes a QR code. Once you’re ready to send your clothes, simply scan the code and tell us the gender and size of the items inside.

That’s it — no complicated listing, photos, or pricing.

Step 4: We Match You Using Smart Technology

From there, our AI-powered matching system searches our database to find a family whose child wears the same gender — but a size or two smaller. This ensures the clothes you’re sending will arrive at the right time, to the right child.

It’s thoughtful, efficient, and designed to keep clothes in use longer.

Step 5: Ship & Feel Good About It

Print your shipping label, drop the bag at the post office, and know exactly where your clothes are going — to a real family, inside the Loop.

Once you’re in the system, you’ll also be eligible to receive clothes when another family sends a bag that matches your child’s size.
